I get this question all the time: "Aren't All Realtors The Same?" and the answer is always the same “Absolutely not!”
Do we all take the same test? Yep. Do we all complete the same course work? You bet. Don’t we all focus on relationship building, educating our clients, and staying on top of the latest market and technological trends to make your home buying/selling process as effortless and fun as possible?... Wait, what?
That last one is a big one, and sadly the answer isn’t always a resounding “Of Course!”
As a lifelong extrovert and a bit of a nerd, building relationships and researching trends are my favorite things to do! Which means I work a lot because I truly enjoy what I do! What does that mean for you?
It means that I will ask the important questions that you may not have considered about your new home “What is important about that feature?” And “What does Saturday morning look like in your home?” These seemingly innocuous questions give me a valuable peek in to what your particular needs are. This means we won’t spend months wasting your time, energy, and patience driving all over creation looking at every house that has a roof. We will be hyper focused on the homes that are in your desired area, with room’s big enough to fit Aunt Glady’s antique dining room table. This is going to be your HOME and your sanctuary. Let’s make sure that it is everything that you want it to be!
My focus on education means that I encourage my clients to ask questions because that is the best way to learn! “How much money do I need for a down payment?” “Should I buy a propane tank or rent one?” “Should I sell my house or find a new one first?” And I’ll bet you have 50,000 more questions running through your head right now! That is great! It is what I am here for! And if I ever don't have the answer my focus on relationship building means that, I probably know exactly how and where to find it.
As for technical and market trends... Those are my jam! It is 2019 which means buying and selling real estate is different than it was 30 years ago. Apps and social media mean that consumers are FLOODED with pictures and information. It can be overwhelming to sort through all of the hype to figure out what information is useful and what is just noise. People are busy, you don’t have time to be researching price per square foot, average days on market, and list price to sales price ratios. That is where I come in! It is my job and my pleasure to sort through all of the noise to present you with the real story, the honest story, and the information that is most valuable to you as a consumer.
Buying or selling a home isn’t just about unlocking a door or reading a purchase agreement. Anyone could do those things. I truly believe that there is more to your real estate transaction. This is a big transition; don’t you deserve an agent that is going to go above and beyond for you?

My focus in life and with my clients is to keep a positive attitude and be absolutely authentic in everything I do. I treat my clients like they are family and am usually greeted with handshakes on the first appointment and hugs at the closing table.
I dove in to real estate in 2016. With the goal of providing my clients with maximum information and minimal headaches. In my first year of real estate I was honored to be nominated as Rookie of The Year by the Southern Indiana Realtors Association.
When I am not showing property I can be found listening to podcasts or reading, ideally in a hammock in my backyard. Or watching Netflix with my husband, two rescue cats, and two rescue dogs.
I also enjoy giving back to my community as a volunteer and board member for the Floyd County Animal Rescue League as well as serving on several committees for the Southern Indiana Realtor's Association.
